As my presidency comes to an end, I am filled with mixed emotions. Although I have a wonderful and loving family, I consider The Portland Players my second family. I have had four marvelous years being President of the Board of Trustees. I have been blessed with having some hardworking and dedicated people serve on the Board with me. They have made the job as pleasure and I want to thank them all for everything they have done. I am eternally grateful for the many, many volunteers who come to help put on five productions each year. In the past four years, we have produced 20 fabulous shows - each of which I am proud and thrilled to say I was involved. Even in this not so great economy, The Portland Players continues to be successful - thanks to all the wonderful people who support us. Thank you all for allowing me the privilege of serving as President of the Board. I may be stepping down but I will not be leaving!!!! You will continue to see me in the box office. I will also be producing a show or two next year. Hopefully, I will continue to serve this theater in one way or another for many years to come.
