President's Message

Dear Friends and Patrons,
Here we are again – half way through a season!  It has been wonderful so far.  Company and Rocky Horror were successful, thanks to the cast and crews of those shows!!  I also want to thank the seventeen members of the Board of Trustees who work tirelessly on the many chores around this theater.  I appreciate all that they do.  I also want to thank the many volunteers who build and paint sets, usher, work in the box office, and many other chores that need to get done in order for this theater to be successful.

For Cheaper by the Dozen, we are thrilled to have a new director (the third new director in a row!!).  Stacey Koloski comes to us with fantastic credentials.  She just directed High School Musical at Lyric Music Theater and is one of the owners of STAGES which has just moved to South Portland. (Welcome to both STAGES and Stacey!)  Stacey brings enthusiasm, excitement, and excellence to this stage.  I know that you will all love this show.  Thank you to Stacey, her cast, and her crew.

I am very excited to announce next year's season.  This will be the 80th season for The Portland Players and we are sure you will be thrilled to see each and every show.
